Health and Safety Policy Statement

Skellec Electrical specialises in electrical installation and maintenance services for the commercial and domestic areas throughout Australia.

This statement recognises the requirements of AS/NZS 4801 and will ensure that Skellec Electrical Electricians:

  • Provide and maintain safe working environments that are without or minimise risks to the health, safety and welfare of other or the environment;

  • Set measurable objectives that will be continually monitored for improvement;

  • Commit to continually improving safety performance and its safety management system to eliminate work related injury or illness to the electrician and to the customer;

  • Commit to comply with relevant Safety legislation and any other requirements placed upon the organisation;

  • Set standards that comply with the relevant statutory requirements relating to health, safety and welfare regarding the effect on employees, contractors, visitors and the public;

  • Ensure that employees have the adequate personal protective equipment required and to provide guidance, instruction, training and supervision for safe methods of work to be undertaken;

  • Train all employees to be aware of their own responsibilities in respect of relevant health and safety matters and ensure they participate in the prevention of accidents;

  • This will be achieved by reducing the number of incidents in the network and creating more company awareness.

    Skellec Electrical's  primary safety objective is to prevent workplace injuries and illness.

    This policy will be reviewed annually at a minimum or as required to reflect changes to Skellec Electrical’s policies and procedures in response to any health and safety legislative changes or other requirements.
